On January 9, 2026, Surecycle Finance Corporation met with the local government of Davao City (Davao City LGU). The meeting took place at the Davao City Tourism, Investment and Promotions Building on Palma Gil St., Davao City. SureCycle Business Development Manager Ms. Shunie Pearl D. Palacios led the alignment meeting to propose a partnership program between SureCycle Finance Corporation and the Davao City LGU.
Representatives from several offices were invited to attend the meeting. These included the City Transportation and Traffic Management Office, Davao Bus Office, City Cooperative Development Office, Barangay and Cultural Communities Affairs Division (BCCAD), and City Social Welfare and Development Office. The meeting was made possible through the endorsement of the Davao City Investment Promotion Center. We sincerely thank them for the opportunity.
The meeting gave Surecycle the opportunity to propose a partnership program that could create better mobility and livelihood opportunities for employees of these organizations and the public. The proposed partnership includes the endorsement of qualified employees, protection against fraud, and additional ways to provide financial assistance to the public sector.
